About the Campus

The College of Agriculture, Hanumanamatti is a constituent College of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad and located on Pune-Bengaluru National Highway (NH4), 22 km away from Haveri and 12 km away from Ranebennur. The College is one of the premier institutes in Karnataka for imparting quality education and conduct of research and extension activities in agriculture. The College plays an important role in human resource development in the field of agricultural sciences.

          With the existing facilities in KVK and ARS, the College was initially housed in KVK buildings. Later in the year 2015, a new College building with well-equipped class rooms was established in an area of 1740 sq.m. Presently, the first floor of College building with an area of 1740 sq. m. . The new girls’ hostel with 75 rooms with two occupants per room, recreation hall and gymnasium room in an area of 1055 sq. m. was established in the year 2018. The works for the establishment of play ground are underway. Since 2011, the College has grown in terms of academics, research and extension and in catering the needs of the region. Overall infrastructure, in terms of number and quality of teaching staff, supporting staff, laboratory equipments, conveyance etc., is adequate.
