Agricultural Microbiology a separate department has been established during 2011 since the inception of the college. In the year 2017-18 a separate laboratory was established with basic facilities such as equipments and glasswares to facilitate practical classes for the undergraduate students. Since then I am fully involved in teaching of undergraduates. As for as research and extension is concerned presently working on isolation and studies of Azotobacter as a potent Nitrogen fixing species from various cereals crops grown in the area. Transfer of knowledge on biofertilizers technology and training of mushroom production technology is being carried to farmers. Training programmes to farmers and line department officials on recent advances and technologies in biofertilizers for various agricultural crops and horticultural crops of the area. The knowledge of Mushroom cultivation is disseminated to enthusiastic farmers, young agriculture entrepreneurs through Training programs with demonstrations.
